On 7th August, the Malawi Girls Guides and the Boys Scout were at the New state house holding talks with the state President Dr Bingu Wa Mutharika. During the meeting the President accepted to be a Patron for Boys Scout and Madame Mutharika, though in absentia, through the hubby also accepted to a patron for Girls Guides. The family gave each group financial assistance amounting to one million malawi kwacha.
